Can’t seem to sit still for even 5 minutes to meditate? Does your mind keep bouncing around all over the place? This meditation for beginners audio series will help.
I want to share simple, effective techniques with you that will help begin the process of quieting your chattering mind that has you convinced that you can’t sit still to meditate (by the way, it’s not true. You absolutely can).
You’ve heard about the many benefits of meditation (lowered stress, better coping, more peacefulness, a tool to help you heal through trauma, pain, self-doubt anxiety etc).
But!
Maybe you’ve even tried. But it feels like you’re not doing it ‘right’ or like you can’t turn off your hyper-mind.
Do any of these sound like you?
“I can’t sit still.
Meditation’s just not for me.
I can’t stop thinking about other things.”
There is no ‘right way to meditate. So you can breathe a sigh of relief there. There’s nothing you’re doing wrong and nothing wrong with you. This reaction is perfectly normal. You’re busy and on overdrive and sitting still to meditate just doesn’t seem to work.
Until now.
The Meditation Primer is a short, 3-part series of audios with proven practices and suggestions to help you still the mind, eliminate that constant restless feeling that comes on when you try to sit still, and help you to finally be open to a meditation practice that lowers stress levels, increases your daily focus, and helps you feel more at peace.
This isn’t about any specific type of meditation (there are many kinds). This primer is simply to make it easier for you to cultivate the habit of stillness, and presence so that whichever type of meditation you choose (such as the guided meditations I share freely throughout this website), you’ll be able to do them more easily.
You get one email a day with a short audio and tips for three days. You can listen to these audio recordings on the go (washing the dishes, commuting, whenever it’s convenient).
